Preparatory heat treatment (annealing):
High temperature annealing process, heating temperature 870 ~ 890 ℃, heat 3 ~ 6h, furnace cooling to below 500 ℃, cooled released after annealing hardness 28 ~ 30HRC, after annealing organizations to fine grain-like particles uniformly distributed austenite carbide. High temperature annealing process is to improve the 7Mn10Cr8Ni10Mo3V2 (7Mn10) steel cutting performance.
Solution and aging treatment:
Solution temperature is 1150 ~ 1180 ℃, water, solid solution hardness 18 ~ 25HRC. Aging temperature is 700 ℃, aging time 2h, hardness 46 ~ 47HRC.
7Mn10Cr8Ni10Mo3V2 (7Mn10) steel gas Nitrocarburizing:
In order to improve hardness and wear resistance of the mold, you can use the gas nitrocarburizing treatment. Nitriding temperature of 560 ~ 570 ℃, nitriding time of 4 ~ 6h, nitriding depth 0.03 ~ 0.04mm, nitrided layer hardness 950 ~ 1100HV.
